众所周知深海领域常年黑暗，高压，充满了死亡的讯息，但随着深海探测器和潜水艇的深入，越来越多生命奇迹展现在我们眼前，海洋生物围绕在海底热泉附近获得热源和矿物质，深海鱼在高压环境下变得扁平，这为我们揭示地球生命的起源有着重大意义。很多年前我们误以为化石能源临近枯竭，但对深海的加大探索我们发现了新的石油天然气以及极端环境下形成的可燃冰，延缓了能源危机。同时发展深海潜水艇也有助于未来太空船的扩大与发展，所以深海就是一个待发掘的宝藏。

总的来说海洋是我们星球不可分割的一部分，尽管人类在海洋探索方面上有相当悠久的历史，深海领域对于我们仍然充满了重重迷雾，在我看来增强深海探索迫在眉睫

From the early days of the Cold War in the last century to today’s age of artificial intelligence, hundreds of satellites and probes have been launched by human beings into deep space and into Earth’s orbit. Some countries have even developed the capability for manned spaceflight and lunar landing, while certain spacecraft have already flown beyond the solar system. However, while trying to explore other planets, we still know surprisingly little about our own home planet—the Earth, especially the ocean, which covers about 70 percent of its surface.

As is widely known, the deep sea is a realm of permanent darkness, extreme pressure, and harsh conditions that seem full of danger and death. Yet, with the continuous advance of deep-sea probes and submarines, more and more miracles of life have come into view. Marine organisms gather around hydrothermal vents to obtain heat and minerals, while deep-sea fish have developed flattened bodies to adapt to immense pressure. These discoveries are of great significance for revealing the origin of life on Earth. Many years ago, people assumed that fossil fuels were approaching exhaustion. However, with increased exploration of the deep sea, new reserves of oil, natural gas, and even combustible ice formed under extreme conditions have been discovered, which has helped ease the energy crisis. At the same time, the development of deep-sea submarines may also contribute to the future expansion and improvement of spacecraft. In this sense, the deep sea is truly a treasure waiting to be explored.

In conclusion, the ocean is an inseparable part of our planet. Although human beings have a long history of marine exploration, the deep sea still remains shrouded in mystery. From my perspective, it is urgent for us to strengthen deep-sea exploration in order to better understand our world and make use of its vast potential.

Nevertheless, as deep-sea probes and submarines continue to descend into the ocean, more wonders of life are being revealed before our eyes. For example, marine creatures live around hydrothermal vents, drawing heat and minerals from such unusual environments, while deep-sea fish have evolved special body structures in order to survive under enormous pressure. These findings are of great significance, as they may help explain the origin of life on Earth. In addition, enhanced exploration of the deep sea has led to the discovery of new reserves of oil, natural gas, and combustible ice, which has, to some extent, helped relieve the energy crisis. Moreover, the development of deep-sea submarines may also provide useful experience for the future improvement of spacecraft. Therefore, the deep sea can be regarded as a treasure house with enormous value.

In conclusion, the ocean is an indispensable part of our planet. Although mankind has a fairly long history of ocean exploration, the deep sea remains largely unknown to us. In my opinion, it is high time that we attached greater importance to deep-sea exploration, because only in this way can we gain a fuller understanding of our planet and better benefit from the resources it may offer.
